How do we do this?
This program is focussed on teaching Aboriginal Culture and history to ALL young Australians through 3 different educational platforms as below:
-3 educational sessions that go through the History of Aboriginal Cultures, Customs and Traditions, The Stolen Generations, Aboriginal Identity, Racism, Aboriginal Art and culturally respecting it and more.
-Aboriginal Art done through a contemporary form known as Silk Painting
-Native Plant food Trail and Story telling in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens followed by guided walk through the SA Museum
This program will allow youth, whose minds are still developing, to learn and be educated in a Culturally respectful manner.
I truly believe that educating future generations and developing socially and morally appropriate decisions is a way to create understanding and empathy about the rich history and culture of Aboriginal Australia.
This will help create better futures for all. Not only for Aboriginal people, but all Australians.
I have created this program and aligned it with the ACARA F-10 Framework, and Melbourne Declaration of Education Goals
There is a set program, however program structure can be changed depending on requirements and needs.
